I Aim To Please

I think Donna asked me for a picture of my brother-in-law's dog (in the last post).

I was doubtful I could even find them much less post them because these pictures were on the Mac.

Lookie here! Not only did I find them and post them, THEY ARE EDITED. A few easy steps on the Mac and the photo is brightened, darkened, sharper, more vivid and the contrast, whoa let's talk about the contrast. LOL.

You know, I kid.

Here is our old dog, Dillon. He is 10 years old and weighs 135 pounds. He is my protector and loud barker. Good Boy! He's a grumpy old soul most of the time but we love him anyway. I have a feeling he will die soon.

This little fella is Cosmo. Keith named him during his time on drugs so I'm sure it has something to do with that. We think it's a cute name and don't ask about its origin. I'm just keepin it real people. Cosmo is 4 years old and will be living with us for a few years until Keith can buy a house with a nice backyard. He is a Flat-Coated Retriever. Isn't he pretty? We like red heads here....2 kids and 2 dogs.

Meet Mo:

Dillon has taught Mo how to bark like a big boy. When he came to us he had a quiet little puppy bark. Now? A "get away from my house you bad, bad burglars" kind of bark.

Good boy!

There you go Donna. Glad I could be of service.

Dillon sounds a little bit like our Freckles who will be 11 in February. While not grumpy, he's just.... a snob.

But we love him anyway. They can endear themselves to us so easily just by being who they are. He's a beauty. So is Cosmo.

What lovely pups! You are a good doggie mommy!

I think you are the truest dog lover out of all the Glyman girls.

Cosmo has two very popular connections.

Cosmo is the name of Kramer on Seinfeld.

Cosmo is a drink.

I know he didn't name him after the foofoo (sp) drink but quite possibly after Kramer.

Love, the dogs!

Did your daughter see the preview for the movie Australia? That looks wonderful.

Yup- on top of everything else you have going for you, you are a dog lover.
Don't be too nice to Dillon. He may suspect you're just doing it because you think he will die soon. Then he won't bark and protect you from burglars.

By the way- thanks for the tips about home security! Could Dillon teach my 11 pound Bonny to bark like a big dog?
IF burglars broke down our front door she would cordially welcome them in and tell them how delightful they smelled. Then she would wag her tail and kiss them while they robbed us blind.

Seriously though- stay safe! I hope they catch those guys before they do anything worse.

I can't believe you didn't even mention how I brought Dillon home for you in the back of my Honda Accord- across the laps of my small children - all the way from Prescott - with all 110 lbs of him (at the time). Dave isn't still mad at me for that, is he??? :)

You know Who...

Hi Stace!!! Yes, my dear friend is the reason we have Dillon. We were up north and she looked at me and said "you should take this nice dog home". And the rest is history.
