Anniversary and Delurk Day

It’s my One Year Blogiversary here at Just Janet. Hard to believe I’ve been doing this for one whole year. It has been an interesting year on this blog. I felt like quitting many times and lately my posts have been very lame and not consistent. I didn’t have a clear purpose for writing this blog when I started but it has evolved into something very special. I share this blog with my real life sisters in Wisconsin, Missori and Arizona and it is a wonderful way for me to keep in touch with them. In fact, I think this silly form of communication has brought us closer in our relationships. I also share this blog with other fine ladies; some live here in the Phoenix area and others around the country who I’ve met online. My goal now is to continue to share my life with my sisters and friends and to share the love of Christ with who ever will read this crazy blog. And may God be glorified!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a special day, so if you are a lurker here at JJ, today is the day you should delurk and say hello. Don’t be shy.
Happy Day, dear little sister!
I ran over to the Irvings (Kris Schwarz) the morning you were born.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving hid me in their car and we went to pick up the kids, who were at church. I popped out and announced that "it's two girls'.
(I was nine)
Did you know that?
Go Mario :o)
Hey Janet--I'm in range, want me to pinch her for her careless voting? :)
Just a thought. Actually, I could never pinch or hurt Donna. She'd never talk to me again and then I'd be very lonely.
Glad you're in the blogosphere. I've enjoyed exploring your links.
Happy One Year Blog Anniversary...one day late! I enjoy stopping in at your blog from time to time and seeing what's happening with you and yours in Phoenix. It makes me kind of homesick sometimes, though!:-) Hope your blogiversary was great!
P.S. I'm going to check out the James Taylor Christmas CD! :-)
Hi Janet,
I'm glad you're blogging - keep it up!
Janice, excuse me, but shouldn't Mario win based on those dimples alone? OH MY GOODNESS!
Boo! Hello!
hApPy BlOgAnNiVeRsArY.
The part about it brining you closer to your sisters is so sweet. It must be lovely to see them living daily life even though you are all apart from each other.
I love blogging with my sistas - my big sister started it, and now 4 of us are in. There is something really cool about reading the blog of someone you know and love!
Happy Blogiversary!
Stacey,
you are right, isn't it nice to not be part of the masses, to stand out from the crowd...:{
Janet, did you catch me taking credit for your Emmitt-obsess on Donna's blog??
Janet said...
Yes I did Janice and it's the truth, I would not have watched if you hadn't told me about the show.
I'm always late for every special occasion...just ask my family!
But happy blogiversary, dear Janet. You have been so kind with your encouraging words to me for much longer than a year!
