Can I Get An Amen?!

We have water, PEOPLE!!!

I'm very happy with the placement of these sinks and mirrors!! It was worth the wait and inconvenience.

And here is our desk from Ikea.

All we have left to do is paint (yea, we hired a painter), the carpet needs to be tacked in a few places, one dry wall patch and clean.

And if I may quote Vern the plumber, "Well, whoop-d-do".

I love that man.

It looks LOVELY Janet. Congrats!

I hope you got my thank you ecard. The kids and I went to Bucky's today, and as we enjoyed our frappuchinos, we toasted to you! :)
Thanks again.

Wonderful!

I'm dying to see those shelves too.

I am going to have to go stare at the before and after sinks...cause they look a like to me....

Your desk with computer is very cool!

Donna, we only moved them about 4 inches toward the center so you may not be able to notice. But really it is a huge difference, especially the way the mirrors are hung.

The bathroom colors are great. Are the walls like a periwinkle? Are the cupboards sort of a buttermilk?

We live about an hour from an Ikea store and I have never been there. I think we will make it a field trip this year...especially after seeing your classy desk. Does it come with a stuff-clearing mechanism?

Anita, you are exactly right about Ikea. It is field trip worthy! Plan to spend several hours and be sure to have lunch, the Swedish meatballs are delish. My almost 5 year old loves going to the "daycare" at Ikea. :) About that stuff-clearing mechanism....no it doesn't come with one but I think you're on to something!!!!

For the true color of the bathroom scroll down to the next post, last few pictures. It's wedgewood-ish.

Janet,

This is a thing of beauty. I'm glad you got the sinks moved. Much better. I like it all!

Be glad you hired a painter. We (Bud) installed and painted our own trim after we redid the upstairs floors this spring. It was challenging, to say the least.

Enjoy! And post shelf pictures asap.

AMEN!! Congrats on your progress!!Everything is looking great!

Love the desk! WIll it be a challenge to keep it lookin' like that!!?? I actually removed my desk in my classroom YEARS ago because I suffer from the Glyman piles habit! ;)

I saw the color on the bigger picture. I'm now a fan of wedgewood.

HA HA! Glyman piles! Sounds like something a desk sergeant would develope after too many years on the job and not enough fiber in the diet.
