Esther Jean

I absolutely love this picture of me and my mom. It has a special place on my refrigerator. I see it every day. I look for it every day.

This is how I remember my mother. Tender, loving, beautiful and kind.

Today would be her 72nd birthday. I wanted to post this picture to honor my mom and so my sisters could see it. It has probably been a long time since they've seen this picture.

It sure would be fun to celebrate this birthday with my mother but God in His infinite wisdom had other plans for Esther Jean. His plans are not always completely understood but they are always perfect.

Romans 8:28-29

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Dearest Janet!!!

Thank you for sharing that precious picture of you and mom!

I have not seen it in a long long time! I am going to copy it and print it out!
Thank you sweetie!!
It makes me teary :o)

I think mom would be 72 this year. I know dad was born in 1927 and I think mom was born in 1934. Wouldn't that be 72?

Off to print that fabulous photo! I see Katie in you :o)

Janet,

Do you happen to know when this picture was taken? I see mom's ring...so I think you must be around six. What do you think?

Happy Birthday Mom!
I can't imagine you are 6 in that picture because you still have all your baby teeth! It looks like mom did her own hair in that photo as opposed to going to the beauty parlor (usually a weekly visit). I remember telling her how much I liked her hair when it was soft, and she did it herself :). Sue

I'm,late , I'm late for a VERY IMPORTANT date!!! I wore "the ring" all day on Saturday in honor of our Mom!

It obvious why we are such loving and devoted Mommies to our children by our role model!! Look how Mom is looking at Janet! WOW!!

Look at our sweet "tiny" too!

hugs and kisses, me :)
