Fun Times, For Sure

These are pictures of our activities on Saturday while we were up north. These pictures represent the GOOD PARTS. Because, letmetellya, there were a few bad parts, mostly having to do with our Rhino and a tree. Long story, all is well now, except our pocket book.....

Below we have a bunch of cousins sitting in dried mud. Hey, it makes for a great bench!!

Sarah and her cousin Andrew.

Lauren learning how to drive with Daddy very nearby.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HANNAH (15)AND DANI (12) !!!

The cheesecake was from Sam's and it was delish! Actually much better than Costco's. Dave picked it up for us while he was in Flagstaff buying 4 new tires for our Suburban because 2 went flat the day before. Oh, yeah, we're sticking to the 'good parts' of this weekend.

Can you see the plastic placemat under the cheesecake? Yes, the one with brown mushrooms on it! For the record, I'd like to say that it is not mine. I have no control over the decor in that cabin. K? :-)

did the cheesecake come with all those strawberries on top? yum, I thought you had Key Lime pie, Dave must have had fun at Sam's

late on Wed nite (after our b-day dinner) I figured out how old Hannah was and almost had a heart attack

Strawberries came on it and they weren't gross and jelly-like.

Heart attack, yes. Especailly when I think about leaving home at 18 and never really going back. That will not be the case obviously but sometimes I think I only have 3 more years with her and she'll be gone for good. Baggage.

Like Donna says "Always be coming home".

Gosh, I just made myself cry.

I don't think she'll go too far away!!!

I was so busy commenting about food I forgot to mention the great photos...great photos, especially the one in the dirt rut!!

Be always coming home.

And she will.
Do not let her leave the state.
No No No.

Well...she can go to Moody with Emma.
Cause it's always fun to come home to Chicago.

I'm sorry you were all alone.

Sue and I went together to Stephens.
We followed one another in the cars.
I would leave my blinker on for hours and drive her nuts. hehe he

Hi Janet, I haven't been to your site for awhile- it looks wonderful!
Pretty and uplifting. Very thoughtful of so many of the cousins to wear pink to complement your sidebar color.
Hope this weekend is great with no bad parts, Rhinos or trees

OH MY GOODNESS! I will not go that far away. I can't even drive yet. I think the farthest I would go is to Cali. to go to Biola cuz I think they have a good nursing program and it's in Cali. 20 mins. away from the beach... lol

Hey...Susie help me drive to Stephens too! How did we start talking about Hannah going to college..."she can't even drive yet"! I can't get Brandon to leave the house let alone a new town!!! ;)

Happy Birthday girls!!

I'll be happy to escort Jessica and Hannah to Biola. Mike and I will get a dorm room next door - I'm sure the girls won't mind a bit :)
