Yuck

Apparently when a 5 year old with the flu sneezes on your face on Monday morning, you will get the flu by Tuesday evening.

I'm just sayin'

See how smart I am.

My flu is mild but my little Lauren is still running a high fever. We are starting our 4th day. It was 102.4 this morning. Any thoughts?

Dear Janet,
Get well soon.

Will Lauren stay in bed.
Can you stay in bed.

I think rest really helps our bodies heal.
Popcicles are nice too.

Try to cozy in....call a cleaning lady and have Dave pick the kids up from school.

Get well!!!

I think a Coke would make you feel better too.

We always get the flu at the END of the winter. Therefore, I am going to have to stop reading your blog until everyone at your house is feeling better. We always seem to catch things via the Internet. JK.

I never know what to do with a really sick person. Keep her hydrated is about my only method.

kari & kijsa, yes it was a special day complete with goodie bags and a hand written cards for the kids, lunch with my sweetie, flowers and a yummy heart shaped chocolate cake. It was also a day with the flu...Hannah has it now. Such is life. Thanks for coming by!

Dear Janet,
What did you end up doing for this weekend.
You had so many plans....are you doing any of them?

Hi Donna. Lauren is on day 7 and still has a fever. She's finally on antibiotics and cough medicine. I have a nasty head cold and sinus issues and Hannah is down for the count. She's had a horrible day; fever, chills, back ache.

We warned our international students of this PLAGUE and they still wanted to come. So, last night we had 6 people stay with us.

I am not going to Dallas after all. I just couldn't leave Lauren and Hannah and I fear another child might come down with it soon. I won't be able to visit with Amy (Good Soil). We had plans, you know.

I'll probably be able to blog a little in the next few days.

I'm so sorry, Janet!
You must be very disappointed.

Get well wishes for you and the girls.
