Apparently

These make everything all better.

Well, almost.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His grace is great enough to meet the great things-
The crashing waves that overwhelm the soul,
The roaring winds that leave us stunned and breathless,
The sudden storms beyond our life's control
His grace is great enough to meet the small things-
The little pin-prick troubles that annoy,
The insect worries, buzzing and persistent,
The squeaking wheels that grate upon our joy
Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
Christ empowers you, through His grace, to handle every crisis, adversity, blessing and eventuality. (Called to Obedience)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I appreciate that the authors of Called to Obedience included blessing when they considered this passage.

Praising Him and thanking Him for all things!

Huh.
I never noticed that 'blessing' part of Phil. 4. How many other little gems like that are packed away in the Scriptures just waiting to be scooped out?
Or, in honor of your blog picture today- waiting to be 'dibbed' out.
Ha.

Happy Monday.
It's snowing here.
Again. Yet.

Anita, I went back and changed the post to make things a little more clear.

"all things" would most certainly include blessings, wouldn't it? :)

Sorry for the confusion.

No, no, it just makes me appreciate how much meaning there is in every one of God's Words! I'll have to check out 'Called to Obedience'

I have time to read blogs in the middle of the day because we are in the middle of a family crisis. On the way to my youngest son's road test I saw a trail of horrid red in the snow. Not a dead animal, a dead transmission. So we had to cancel his test and right now I am letting him mourn by himself so he can preserve his masculine dignity.

Anita. I'm so sorry about the transmission and that your son can't take his test today. My daughter is counting down the days until she can take her driving test and she wants to do it on her birthday. She would also be very disappointed.

You are a great Mommy to let him mourn in dignity. Bless you.
