Last March Carmon entered my name in her contest and I WON!! I got to pick $25.00 worth of books from her nice store. This is just one of them and I am reading it for the very first time.
You may already know that I am a late bloomer when it comes to reading good books and classics. Better late than never, right?! I'm actually quite embarrassed by my lack of reading but at least I have something to show for the last several years, I gave birth to and nursed 5 children in 10 years, phew! Donna tells me not to be embarrassed...she says: "people just don't blog about math and science." I have just started GWTW and I really like it so far.
Guess what? I've never seen the movie either. I've seen bits and pieces and know parts of the story but never start to finish! I am excited about that. I love reading books first.

Why don't you blog about math and science? I would listen and learn.
I'll blog math and science with you. We'll be the blog geeks ;)!
I've never read nor seen GWTW. It's not that appealing to me. But I'm glad you're reading it - maybe you'll inspire me.
Oooo...Scarlet is soooo bad....
wait and see.
There is a birth scene you will LOVE!
Emma was at a Bible study and was sitting in the center of at least eight boys and I looked at her and said,
"I think Charles may get it."
(in a southern accent)
She knew just what I meant :o)
By the way, when we named Katie, I had forgotten that Scarlett's whole name was actually Katie Scarlett.
Just a co-ink-e-dink.
It's ok, if you have not read GWTW or seen the movie....I forgive you :)
But please, oh please, dont compare the movie and the book.

PS USPS has issued an Hattie McDaniel (Mammy) stamp and I intend to buy lots and lots. I operate on her diet system: Eat BEFORE you go to the BBQ!! :)
Janet, I've never read or seen it either but hope to do both one day. :)
