Did I ever tell you that my boys have promised to pay me big bucks to NEVER get a Facebook account?
Where did I go wrong with those young'uns?

Anita...my boys laughed at me when I said I was doing FACEBOOK! I promised them I would not invite them to be my friends and I know this may come as a shock but they haven't invited me to be their friend either!!!!!!!!!
Every once in awhile I post a note in their inbox...just to keep them humble! GO FOR IT!!! It is a fun way to keep in touch!!

come on, Anita. time to join the fun. :)just remember that you control FB, it doesn't control you. I am judicious about whom I accept and don't. there are people I just don't want to hang out with on a daily basis... so I hit the old 'ignore' button. Ahhhh.... sweet relief. :)
My big girls signed me up awhile ago :-) I have one son who won't be my friend yet, but my other family members who are on FB have me as a friend AND it's kind of fun to be asked to be a friend of some of their friends :-)

When my kids heard that I might get a Facebook account they pulled their prune faces and asked why moms couldn't have their own network site.
It was suggested we call it a FACELIFT account.
Obviously Janet, the only way I'll get updates on you is to get that account :)

That is soooo funny Anita. You tell those boys that we can have our own little space on FB or FL, whatever. My daughter uses the words "stalker" and "creeper" on occasion so I promised not to friend request any of her friends/boys on her FB. However, two wonderful, Godly, handsome, athletic, intelligent young men friend requested ME! So I added them. I think they think I'm cool.
C'mon Anita. We're waiting. Lynn told me it was my job to get you to join and I do not want to disappoint.
Does this mean you are never coming back to the quaint, old-fashioned world of blogging?
